On November 16, 1903. the owners of the Chicopee and Pittsfield teams exchanged the location of their franchises. Each team assumed the other teams record in the standings. The new Pittsfield team assumed a 7-0 record and finished the first-half with a 12-5 record. The actual record of the team was 10-8. The franchise returned to Chicopee for the second half. The team dropped out of the league on January 13, 1904.

Chicopee won the first half of the season and Springfield won the second half. League ceased operation on January 30, 1904, so no champion was declared.
