Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com recently ranked all 62 quarterbacks who started at least one game during the 2021 season, and Denver Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater came in at No. 18. - “He was accurate and picked up a lot of unflashy first downs,” Rosenthal wrote of Bridgewater on NFL.com. “He’s the new median for the Dalton Scale, a balm for any team that wants to improve its quarterback play to average.” - Fellow Broncos quarterback Drew Lock was ranked No. 47. - “Lock was better than his stats showed in three late-season starts, avoiding the haywire decisions that plagued his 2020 campaign …. If he plays like that moving forward, he can settle in as a quality backup.” - Elsewhere in the AFC West, Justin Herbert ranked No. 4, Patrick Mahomes ranked No. 7 and Derek Carr ranked No. 10. With three top-10 QBs in their division, it’s clear that the Broncos could use an upgrade at the position (Aaron Rodgers ranked No. 2, by the way). - Tom Brady is ranked No. 1 on the list; Jake Fromm is ranked No. 62. - - Related5 free agent quarterbacks Broncos should consider in 20225 quarterbacks who might interest Broncos in 2022 NFL draft4 quarterbacks Broncos should consider trading for in 2022 - Follow the Broncos Wire Podcast: - Apple Podcasts | Spotify | Google Podcasts - - - List - - 30 best draft prospects at Broncos' biggest positions of need - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Broncos Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Broncos Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
