Denver Broncos general manager George Paton and a team of scouts traveled to Mobile, Alabama earlier this week to attend the 2022 Senior Bowl. - Paton and Co. are taking a close look at the 134 players participating in this year’s college all-star game ahead of the combine and draft later this spring. - Four players caught the attention of the Broncos’ staff at last year’s Senior Bowl: offensive lineman Quinn Meinerz, inside linebacker Baron Browning, outside linebacker Jonathon Cooper and punter Max Duffy. - Meinerz and his big belly stole the show at practices last year, and Denver later selected him in the third round of the NFL draft. Meinerz started in nine games as a rookie. - The Broncos also selected Browning (third round) and Cooper (seventh round) in last year’s draft. Duffy signed with Denver as an undrafted free agent in May but he didn’t make the team’s 53-man roster. - The Broncos have 11 picks to use in the 2022 NFL draft. - - Gallery - 3 future Broncos played in 2020 Senior Bowl - - - - - - view 11 images - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Broncos Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Broncos Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
