LeSean McCoy, known by many as "Shady," became one of the most dynamic running backs in the National Football League (NFL) during his career. Born on July 12, 1988, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, McCoy's journey to professional football began at Bishop McDevitt High School, where he quickly gained attention for his exceptional speed and agility. His high school success led him to the University of Pittsburgh, where he played college football for the Pittsburgh Panthers.
In the 2009 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles selected McCoy in the second round, making him the 53rd overall pick. He quickly adapted to the professional level, showcasing his ability to evade defenders with his quick cuts and elusive running style. During his rookie season, McCoy filled in for the injured Brian Westbrook and led the team in rushing yards, setting the stage for his future as the Eagles' primary running back.

Later in his career, McCoy joined the Kansas City Chiefs in 2019, reuniting with his former Eagles coach, Andy Reid. Although his role was more limited compared to his earlier years, McCoy contributed to the team's success and was part of the Chiefs' Super Bowl LIV-winning squad. In 2020, McCoy signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he added another Super Bowl ring to his collection as the Buccaneers triumphed in Super Bowl LV.
