Erik Hanson, a right-handed pitcher, made his debut in Major League Baseball with the Seattle Mariners. Drafted by the Mariners in the second round of the 1986 MLB Draft, Hanson quickly rose through the ranks, showcasing his talent on the mound. His major league debut came on September 5, 1988, when he pitched against the New York Yankees.
