What's My Line? with Casey Stengel
After weeks of Dorothy pointlessly asking mystery guests whether they studied dentistry, Casey Stengel finally appears. Panelists Arlene Francis, Tony Randall, Dorothy Kilgallen, Bennett Cerf
In 1888, the Middle States League was formed and it admitted two all-black teams to its otherwise all-white league, the Cuban Giants and their arch-rivals, the New York Gorhams. Through Chicago's city government, Leland obtained a permit and lease to play at the South Side Park, a 5,000 seat facility. Eventually his team went pro and became the Chicago Unions.
