RetroSeasons recaps past sports seasons through stories, photos, videos, and stats from every team, league, and stadium in history. Coverage includes the NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL, as well as vintage media from defunct teams and leagues.
In 1913, the Federal League played as an Independent six-team minor league. In its first season Powers initially served as president, but he was soon replaced by James A. Gilmore
The MLB draft often consists of 50 or more rounds of players, most of which never make it out of the minor leagues.
In order to make the above list more useful, drafts that took place more than 5 years ago only include the first two rounds or players that actually appeared in a major league game.
