Basketball in 1950
To begin the 1949-50 season, following a three year battle for fans and players, the Basketball Association of America (BAA) agreed to absorb the rival National Basketball League (NBL), creating the new National Basketball Association (NBA).
17 stadiums were used during the 1950 NBA season. Isolated games and short term temporary home fields are not necessarily included.
